The Concept
The Humble One is the first battery-powered lamp that puts the traditional glass bulb front and centre. The bulb of this cordless table light glows like any old-school incandescent type, but is made out of tiny and efficient LEDs. Fully charged, it produces up to 140 hours of light.
The Humble One was designed and created by Amsterdam-based design studio APE in an effort to find an easier, safer and more sustainable substitute for warm candle light. As a result, the Humble One’s bulb glows like any old-school incandescent type, but is made out of tiny and efficient LEDs. We currently have over 15 different designs and two different bulbs in the collection, making it easy to place in any setting and interior.
Up to 140 hrs of light
The Humble One has a surprisingly durable battery. Fully charged, it produces up to 140 hours of light on average.
Wireless or USB-C
Charge it with the included USB-C cable or simply place it on any wireless charger (Qi standard) to charge the battery.
To be repaired
All Humble products are modular by design, meaning each part can easily be replaced. Built to last, all main parts are available as spare parts.
Button or remote
The light’s brightness can be changed by simply pressing the button on the bottom. Or by pressing the dim-buttons on the remote. Our remote controls all lamps within 10 meter range simultaneously. Sold seperately.
