Firefly shines on newest cruise ship Cunard
In 2024, British-American shipping company Cunard launched its newest addition: Queen Anne. This cruise ship accommodates 2,996 passengers and 1,225 crew, has multiple restaurants, bars and lounges, a theatre, art gallery, casino and a library. Humble’s Firefly is now shining on the tables of the ship’s Japanese Aji Wa restaurant.
The Queen Anne is the first new cruise ship of Cunard, part of the Carnival Group, in 14 years. It is worth £479 million and was built in Venice, Italy. Thanks to its pleasant collaboration with Carnival Group, proven services regarding deliveries on other ships and excellent product quality, Humble was selected as the supplier for the table lighting of the Aji Wa restaurant on the Queen Anne.
Eye for detail
The presentation to Cunard’s branding team focused on the features of Humble’s lighting solutions that are important for the cruise industry: quality and design combined with usability and durability. Of course, the look & feel of the restaurant’s mood board were taken into account. This had to be reflected in the table lighting. Cunard is renowned for their attention to detail, and with good reason. Guests at the Aji Wa restaurant can count on a unique Japanese culinary experience which is enhanced by its interior.
Firefly
Because of its sophisticated design and mood-enhancing effect, the Humble Firefly shines on the Queen Anne. The ‘firefly’ beneath the shade of this wireless design lamp casts a subtle light and creates a delicate display of shadows. It fits in perfectly with Cunard’s high standards and the style of the Aji Wa restaurant. The Firefly offers three dimming levels, can be controlled within a 10-meter range, is wirelessly rechargeable and features a long-lasting battery with 140 hours of runtime. Humble’s design lamps provide a warm, inviting atmosphere in the Aji Wa restaurant, elevating the guest’s dining experience.
